I personally don't think it is an actual coin. I think it is part of some kind of jewelry or keychain or something. Not worth much and not a real coin.

Agree. Date says 1953. Must be some sort of token commemorating Elizabeth II's coronation.

This is a replica of the Coronation Medal. Jewelry charm for a bracelet perhaps, or some other such thing.

The obverse legend is slightly butchered, it looks like someone tried to add the I in GRATIA as an afterthought.

Reverse is dated 2 June 1953, 'Coronation Day'

The legend CORONAM SVSCIPIT means "he/she receives (or takes up) (the) crown."

The actual medal, in gold, photos (c) Spinks.
