EFLargeCents Pillar of the Community United States 1304 Posts	Posted 05/11/2017 09:12 am This one is struck on a rather large and thick flan for a halfpenny. One of my favorite designs due to the accurately transcribed music forming a ring on one side, the music being for God Save the King. It wont be any violin maker I assume would of been top end due to the location and more than likely the building still there. Anaximander Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 709 Posts	Posted 05/13/2017 2:49 pm Superb piece. Looks like brass rather than copper. The Token Book ( Galata 2010 ) lists the copper version as EF £90 and UNC £220. Edge inscription mentions Lancaster London and Bristol. The brass one only receives a brief mention, but one struck in silver with milled edge is listed as EF £400. Bell states the edge is plain. Are there two versions?
