B reverse can be found on business strike Washingtons from 1959-64 and was introduced in 1937 for proof coins. The relief is higher and the main pick up points are separation of E and S in STATES and a bold leaf nearly touchs the top of A in DOLLAR. The C reverse is only found on 1964-D and was meant to begin with the clad issues in 1965. The main pick upoint is center detail of the leaves. Basically the details were enhanced but the relief was lowered.

THAT......... was a mouthful....... I'm already frazzled enough with Lincoln varieties. Good thing I don't collect Quarters.
Thanks though, Eric

From my observations, I have found the 1956 to be the toughest to find, followed by the 1962, followed by the 1961. I have found that the easiest year to find is the 1957 followed by the 1958. Keep checking those 1956-64P quarters for Rev B's and the 1964D quarters for Rev C's

Harvey and I are in competition to see who can find the most Rev B coins.
Right now I'm sitting at...
56: 2 57: 5 58: 5 59: 4 60: 4 61: 2 62: 4 63: 9 64: 4 64-D: 0
My biggest problem is trying to figure out which ones are proofs and which one are just BU Type B.

I wouldn't go out of my way to grade the 1958. There are lots of those. Prices are approximately $10 for MS-65.
I am eventually going to send in my best BU set in some day so I have one of each year in the AMACS holders.
