I found this in some change today. Noticed large window and small bottom window (left side in Monticello) has partial thickening arround them (red and green arrows). Would like to know what the experts thing about this thing.

I don't think it's an error, sorry.
Looks to me like it was just hit by something which flattened and widened the metal.

All that damage appears to be from the same item. You can see a little damage on bottom window on the right. Notice how the marks on the lower window is part of a line in parallel with the damage above.
