Were these common issues in 1958?
I found a few coins from this roll that had what I think is a die crack by the tie, and this eyelid issue which I though might be Machine Doubling, there's also some kind of crack/chip near the end of the nose.

Looks like MD on those devices. Note how they are reduced in those areas and flattened?
