Hi! A friend asked me to identify what is going on with this quarter. I'm not great with error coins or PMDs.

Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like the last digit of the date was Struck Through Grease.

Also looks slightly off/broadstruck...

I agree that the last digit in the date looks Struck Through Grease.

I don't see evidence of it being broad-struck. It may be a slightly off-center strike or mis-aligned die but, an obverse pic would be needed to determine that and being that slight is not really worth it.
