Can't really tell from your pic. The top part is in perfect sharpness - but the area in question is blurry!

Does it still have ridges on the edge or is it rounded? kind of looks like it was spooned Can you get an image of the rim?

It does look partially spooned, or maybe that's from being inside a bezel or other type holder.

I see almost a doubling outline from the chin to the nose on the obverse, a doubling of the birds head both too the left?
