It oooks like the image on coins and Canada need a second opinion and also the denticules on the obverse are doubled.

Your second and third pics show it best. I believe it has a case of MD. It's not only the dots but, the letters underneath.

Thanks spruette. I thought it looked like md but the pics of the doubled legend on cac did too. So I wanted a second opinion. I appreciate your reply.

I'm no expert but in my observation coinsandcanada calls a lot of stuff "double" that I see as MD/die wear. I think yours matches their photo pretty well.

Yes it is double legend.
Both the OP`s coin and the coc coin are double legend, the result of MD.
Neither the OP`s coin nor the coc coin are doubled dies.
Nowhere on the coc site do they call that coin a DDO, the coins in that section of the listing are merely errors and varieties that members there have posted to share.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Ohhhhh DBM you are absolutely right it does not list it as doubled die just double legend. That makes a lot more sense now thank you very much for the reply. Thank you kbbpll I thought it matched the pics as well and now I guess I know why.

Yes - MD. Total flatness and sharp edges on the doubled areas indicate Machine Doubling.
