Nice pair,I think the London coin has been double struck hence the extra pellets

Would there not be evidence of double striking elsewhere on the coin too and not just in that one quarter on the reverse? Also, I would expect any doubled pellets to be of the same size, though less apparent, as the dominant ones and not, as these are, smaller and equally well formed.
