Just found a beautiful 1960 Jefferson in my first-ever nickel roll. Very smooth fields on the obverse and reverse, only a couple of minor marks (bag marks?) on the obverse design which are visible -- but not obvious -- to the naked eye. Based on what I've read, I *think* that would make this a MS64 or 65?

I'm extremely new to this, so I'd welcome your input on how you'd grade this. Also, is there a point at which you would send a coin in for grading by PCGS?

Thanks much!
Michelle

It does look like a high grade, but I'm not sure what.

As far as grading, it depends on the coin. For this one, you would have to be sure it's at least MS-66 to make it worth submitting.

Nice find in your first of many rolls!
