Picked up the item below along with many WWII era notes. My best guess is a vintage lottery ticket form China, but I would appreciate thoughts regarding any specifics you may have. I am assuming nominal value if any, but I would love to be corrected on that as well. The size is 4.5" x 2". Thank you in advance for your consideration.

First off, this is pretty cool and I will explain to you what it says. Hopefully its what you are looking for. :)

The red side:
This is a lottery ticket from China. The corners indicate this ticket was 20 yuan. The top center says "Central Savings Committe" and obviously the number is the persons lotto number. Without going into great detail, the front is just covered with rules/info about the lottery and the three big characters in the middle also say "20 Yuan".

At the very bottom it says "The 34th time/interation", meaning this was the 34th lottery.

The blue side:
This side covers the payouts for the lottery. The top of this side of the ticket is the same as the front. Since the Chinese is read/writted from top to bottom and left to right, the payouts are as follows:

One single ticket will be pulled for a total of 1,000,000 yuan for a total of 1,000,000 Yuan.
Two tickets will be pulled for 250,000 yuan for a total of 500,000 yuan.
Five tickets for 50,000 yuan; total of 250,000 yuan
25 tickets for 10,000; total of 250,000 yuan
50 tickets for 5,000; total of 250,000 yuan
100 @ 2,000Y; total 200,000Y
1000 @ 200Y; total 200,000Y
10,000 @ 50Y; total 500,000Y
100,000 tickets @ 20Y; total 2,000,000Y.

The far left line says the total amount of money that will be handed out in the lottery.

Hope I didn't screw up any math. :)

Thank you so much Lembafc! This was exactly what I was looking for. Since you didn't mention it, I am assuming there was not a date on it. I'm still guessing WWII era.

Thank again!

Yea there is date on the thing. The only way you could find the date may be with the 34th lottery part on the bottom. It does have the WWII design/feel to it though.
