I found a 1959D Lincoln Penny in pocket change. I'm questioning why it is so shiny old and circulated. any info? any value? any significance?

It could have been in a collection and may have been spent by an heir or a thief, not knowing what it is other than one cent.

It is in pretty decent shape for a 55+ year old coin. It might be worth 5 or 10 cents from a dealer who might sell it for a quarter or so.

It is certainly worth holding on to and encasing in a 2x2.

I've been searching penny rolls lately. While pretty uncommon, it is possible to find older Pennies in this condition.
