1864 Indian Head Penny - Coin Community Forum

Actually the year started without it and it was added late in the year (CN rounded bust no L, Bronze rounded bust no L, and then bronze pointed bust with L). The L and I believe the pointed bust remained through the rest of the series. It looks like a pointed bust to me, and I think I can see the L on your coin. Report this Post to the Staff
