It's all Die Deterioration. Especially to the right of the last 5. There are die cracks connecting the 9 to 5 and 5 to 5 with a shallower chip (or small die break) below the 9 to 5 crack.
Plus, a hit to the top of the 9 (damage).
Overall, very interesting.
Edit: can you post a close-up of the lower shoulder near the rim? It looks like maybe a die break there.
