Just out of curiosity, and to help me to learn a little about grading... what would you guys say would be a fair grade for a coin such as this? If more pics are needed, let me know. Thanks.

I to am practicing. IMO I'd give it a MS-64+/65 due the dings around the rim. The REV is highly glaring so not sure if there is more wear we can't see. I tend to be harder on the coins I find to prevent disappointment mostly. Wouldn't be surprised if you got a 65.

Great toning...Natural Blue is very desirable for those of us who like toning. Also I want to say one of the few images where you can actually see the color of the toning...Well Done on the Photograph for real.

I would grade it at MS63 only because of the nick on the chin on the obverse.

I could tell better if it was in my hand because looking at it again on the reverse there seems to be some wear.

I'll work on getting some better pics with less glare etc...
Can also get better closeups... working on using a laser pointer/ led flashlight lens on top of my iPhone 6 Plus camera to get detailed closeups... it's amazing how awesome that works! Just need to build an apparatus to hold it in place for me...

This thing is covered in dings. Lol. Here's looking at it in the windowsill with overcast cloudy weather...

I definitely like it and plan to keep it...
it's just that it had more dings than I thought, which would then make it grade lower than what others have thought right?
I was hoping for a decent higher grade example found in the wild...
