After reading a post in the Canadian Commemorative forum about buying empty OGP boxes and cases, I suddenly realized that I never posted my two US Commemorative Coins on CCF.
You might think "What on Earth has that to do with empty boxes"?
Well, the thing is that of one of the coins, the 2004 Edison Commemorative, I lost the box. The other coin, the 2004 Lewis & Clark, I got without box in the first place.
Although not directly related to each other, both coins are from 2004 and both feature a person or persons that explored something. In the case of Lewis & Clark, the continent. In the case of Edison, science.
So, going online I found an official US Mint box without engraving that had two holes in it. Perfect! The result is shown below.
