Found this 1944 LWC in a bunch of wheats I bought today looks like a straight clip from the front but the reverse has a little angle to it not sure if it's a straight clip or pliers.

Looks like PSD to me PBP. I don't see where the design or rim was altered at the strike because of a clip. Blakesley Effect

Just to add a second opinion:

It doesn't show the indicators of a genuine clip error.

The coin color looks altered a bit. So I doubt if this is a real incomplete planchet. Some areas look correct, others not. The rim areas on one side of the altered area show the look correct, but the other side of the clipped area the rim doesn't look correct. The reverse rim area where there shouldn't be a raised area looks wrong. (4:00-5:00) The motto area on the obverse looks like it was altered with pliers on GOD? TRUST doesn't look correct for an incomplete planchet. 'WE TR' looks like that area is bent. So I have my doubts on this one.

Thanks coop I thought it may be PMD just wanted to be sure . At first glance I thought it was right. But after looking close it looked odd.thanks for all the replies.
