Hi. Has anyone seen one of these before and can give me any more information please? I have searched and although I know who Ned Kelly was I cannot find anything for Dave Lord or for an Australian detachment of the 23rd. Thank You.

The badge and motto match the squadron number.

The only "Dave Lord" I can think of was David Lord, who was killed on 19/9/44 while flying supplies to the battle of Arnhem. He was awarded a VC for his actions. The slight puzzle is that he was serving with 271 squadron at the time.
