Any ideas on this 2016/D Penny?

Left Penny is what I am curious about, included the penny on right as comparison since same 2016/D.

On the front it appears that the shape if off and was not colored properly

On the back, the normal raised parts are all smooth, except the center part of the shield, and is missing parts of the shield and One Cent wording that should be there...

@matrix2280, first welcome to CCF. Second, your coin has been damaged after it left the mint. It has no value beyond the one cent.

I'm not entirely sure what has rubbed against the edge and rev face to cause this pattern. One possibility is that it was caught in a clothes washer for some time. If you search CCF in the left hand corner with the key words "washer coin" you will see a somewhat similar wear pattern to these other coins.

Any ideas on the back though? Not sure how a washer/dryer could remove those portions of the shield and "one cent" wording perfectly and also remove the raised lettering that should be there?

Thanks

It almost looks like the design on the reverse was removed with a mill. Flat edges may be vice/clamp damage.

to CCF. No idea how it happened, but it is damage not an error. Someone with too much time on their hands.

Sorry Admin, didn't know I couldn't post links; google penny jewelry and I think you'll see what you have.
