The top one is from Switzerland ("Helvetia" is the Latin name for Switzerland). 5 francs, KM# 40a.1, 1968B, made of cupronickel, and is likely worth around face value. Right now, the Swiss franc is almost equivalent to a US dollar.

Bottom one is from France, KM# 940. About a dollar if circulated, a couple of dollars if Unc. The French franc has been abolished; France uses euros now.

The Swiss coin is still in circulation, so if it's not in unc. it's only worth face value.

About the French coin: Sap already told France has adopted the euro. Since then, there are so many of these coins left there worth almost nothing if they're not in unc.
