BH1964, I have considered selling in small groups or the whole lot...either here or ebay. If I went the whole lot route I'd only have to pay 1 postal insurance fee. On ebay there would be a 10% fee of final sale plus the PayPal fee. Here at CCF there would be just the PayPal fee. Next I wouldn't know what I should sell for. I am sure some of these bullion pieces have some numismatic value and the air-tites would be around a $1 each. Not trying to get rich by any means. If I sold I would at least like to break even or a smidge more. I don't wanna over charge but I also don't wanna under charge and cut myself short. If I were to take these to a place that buys gold and silver or a pawn shop what would I expect? Would there be any sort of paper work?

Some places may take your ID, some don't. Also at a gold/silver place they would at best offer you melt for bullion. Most cases, for a little less. Up to you between ebay and CCF, but I would rather go CCF than a pawn shop unless you desperately needed money (which it sounds like you don't).

Would there be any sort of paperwork? You could avoid all fees except mailing costs if you accepted checks or money orders only. Check ebay's completed listings to get an idea of your item(s) retail value. I usually ask for 5%-10% less than average ebay completed listings because some of the savings can be passed along to the buyer and you'll still still net more $$ in the long run. Gold/silver dealers or pawnshops will normally only offer melt (or under melt) for most silver. Unless there is significant numismatic value they will not pay a premium to melt. There should be no paperwork whatsoever with any small sale of silver.

@Firefly's idea of SHTF... Silver won't do anything for you in such a case. You will need food and/or common ammo. Nobody will be dealing in silver because that's nonsense.
Sell locally to a collector, to a refiner, to a coincommunity member, or to a jeweler. One thing to keep in mind: only a collector will care about the pristine condition of a bullion item, so don't expect special treatment from a refiner or a jeweler. If you bought BULLION on the pretense that condition, proof status, or grade matters, then you've been had from the very start. Bullion is for temporary storage or for melting (industrial purposes). Pay only minting premiums, not collectors' premiums.

Libertad, a man after my own heart! I have tried to convince others of that same fact, if there comes a financial crisis, it wont be just money is hit, EVERYTHING will be affected and if you don't have food or bullets, sorry folks, reality stinks, YOU will die...period, dot. The only tradeable commodities will be what people NEED, silver in any size, small coin, bullion, tableware is worthless. We're talking a barter society, a chicken for a midwife birth, just like the 1890's. That's why gold/platinum/palladium are worthless barter tools. The major problem is, since food and bullets are the barter tools, they are also your survival tools, you have to protect what you have because the downtrodden masses will be looking to receive from you that which you have because the government (gubmint)no longer is robbing it from you to give it to them...for nothing. Don't think it can happen...just look at the craziness going on now...weirdly similar to the class/economic rhetoric(warfare) of the late 1850's. I have my bullets and some food, do you? I just like silver, that's all.

A financial crisis in this country does not guarantee that SHTF. There will always be those with excess, willing to trade for items of value, including PM's, always. Never in recorded history have gold or silver not had value, and will remain the same even until TEOTWAWKI.
One reason that gold and silver will be worthless for much of the general population for bartering in SHTF, is that because only a tiny percentage (1-3%) even own any.of these metals.
