Removed an inventory sticker from this NGC + CAC slab, and I tore off a bit of the NGC hologram. What would you do, what should I do, what can NGC do? I think if I sent it to them, they'd charge for a re-slab, and then I'd lose the CAC sticker, but I dunno...?

If it were me I would not be worried, you have the majority of the hologram and the CAC sticker. Dealers sometimes put their own stickers on the slab and it is not uncommon for the hologram to take the beating.

The NGC hologram police are going come after you and lock you up for a very long time.
Unless you say I am sorry. Then they will give you really cool coins for free.

It seems to have torn off in a genuine way.

I wouldn't worry.

Won't hurt the coin or it's value, but there is one less undamage "old fatty" holder in existence. (If slab collecting ever becomes more popular they are going to find that old fatty holders with pristine holograms are rare.)

Doesn't hurt the value WHATSOEVER. 100% waist of time/money to get it reholdered, plus you won't get the CAC. I've torn them off before as well.

Well there goes your chance of ever getting the Perfect Hologram sticker. Better sell it now while you can because in a few years the market will never accept a non perfect hologram.

Right NHD (Natural Hologram Damage) vs. AHD (Artificial Hologram Damage) - we can create a new sticker to sticker the hologram.
