I remember using these in the mid-60s.

One peseta bought an ice cream and 25 centimos change !

Nice, I was living in Spain a couple of years ago and went to buy a banknote or two, and the older ones are small, when I lived there like 15 years ago, 1 peseta would buy you exactly one one peseta coin which was good for throwing at people as it was so light, they'd never even notice.
