Crisp and uncirculated, plucked from a world currency "junk" bin today for a whole 50¢ (US).

My questions - could (and under what circumstances) this still be spent or otherwise redeemed at face value, or has it been demonetized? And, if it's actually minimally worth 10 Swiss Francs (a bit over $10 US), is there any significant premium to be had?

I am quite sure that this note has been demonetized and can no longer be redeemed.

This note is from the Fifth Series from the SNB and has been recalled and demonetized so there is no face value. All Swiss notes are invalid 20 years after being recalled. The Sixth Series notes were recalled in 2000. They are not legal tender but can be redeemed at the SNB until 2020.
