Hello, I need help identifying a Large date and Small date.

I've watched video's and thought I had it figured out but...when I look at my coins I still can't tell the difference.

Hope you will tell me if I have one of each a large date and a small date and which one is the small and which one is large.

Or do I have two small or two large. Weighed these pennies on a smart weigh a SWS600- 600X 0.1g if this means anything. The weight for both were 3.1

It would be so greatly appreciated!!
Thank you

All pictures are large date. On small date, the 8 will be level with the 9. LD, it's a little higher.

Thanks everyone! The small date the 2 is further from the rim. How far from the rim? Goodness the first picture I posted looks like the 2 is far from the rim compared to the second one. Well I guess I just have to practice, practice, practice.

Thanks again

I take it you didn't read the link I sent - it explains everything not just the 2 being close or further from the rim!

I've always wondered who and why people even notice stuff like this. The 70S is even worse to figure out.

In my opinion, the 1982 is easy to spot. 1960 as well. The 1970 is a bit trickier, but when you see the two side-by-side it is more obvious.
