Is This Penny Valuable? - Coin Community Forum

Mji2001 New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 06/13/2017 7:24 pm Hi so I found this penny and I saw it's missing the last digit in the date. I'm assuming it's from Die Deterioration. My question is whether or not I should keep the coin.. is it worth anything? It's hard to see much in the picture, but I can tell you that the last digit is completely gone. There is no sort of raised area as to where the digit would be. Under a magnifying glass you can't see anything in the place of the 4th digit. So, is it valuable?
