I am trying to get an idea of the value of this coin and have not been able to find any prior sales or any information in the on line price guides. Can anyone offer any insight into the potential value of these Proof Like MS half dollars?

The NGC population guide shows that only 6 graded MS66 PL....only one better at MS67 PL.

The NGC price guide lists the coin but does not give any pricing.

I attached a picture of the label.

Any info on these PL Half dollars would be appreciated.

Likely worth a bit more with PL designation.

Maybe,But I really don't see why NGC gave it a PL.

The question is not whether the coin is proof-like. It does look proof-like in hand....just not a good picture.

The question is does a proof-like (PL) certification from NGC add any significant value? I have checked ebay completed listings and do not see anything similar. Since the population is only 6/1 that doesn't surprise me. I have also checked the NGC price guide and they do not list a price for the PL coins. Has anyone actually bought or sold a pre-2003 kennedy with a proof-like designation? I have seen a lot from 2013 to date but not many before 2003.

What is the overall pop,NGC and PCGS and ANACS. I would assume a higher value than a standard 66.

One sold back in 2010 for $35 according to the NGC coin explorer. Regular 66s sold anywhere from $9 to $42.
