I found the following serial number on a one dollar note of 2013: A 776 70 677 C.

Are bookends worth something more than face value?
How collectible they are?

That is NOT a bookend. a 3 number bookend starts with the same 3 numbers as the last 3 numbers (ex. 776**776). I save them but there is no premium value.

Yes, it is a bookend. It starts with 77 and ends with 77. I didn't said it was three digits or two. I separated the serial number in groups for visual purposes.

I stand corrected. My bad. I only collect 3 digit BE and 2 digit with the same number. IMO that is a cool BE.
