Hi all,
I found this penny at work. From what I found online a 1943 copper penny is rare. I did the magnet test and it is non-magnetic, according to the meat scale it is around 3.11 grams, from what I can tell the date does not look altered. Sounds real when I drop it.

Worth keeping? Is it real based on these photos?

Thank you!

Softened devices is a dead giveaway of a fake. Yup, date looks terrible.
Also recolored or toned to disguise.
