Is there something up with this dollar bill? there is a big space in the serial number
now that I think of it, it only has 7 numbers

Looks like the number wheel got stuck in between numbers when indexing and nothing was printed - cool find!!

Be careful - this could easily be faked, especially on a well worn note.

I would agree that there's a high likelihood this is an altered note. A digit of a serial number might drop out in one spot, but to have it happen in both positions is very suspicious.
