If you're talking about those lines, they are linear plating bubbles.

So, not a woody. I'm not sure if you can even have a Zincoln woody...

Yes only COPPER planchets. Woodies seem to be improper mixing of ingredients in the making and extruding of the plate metal. Possibly it is not enough heat in the initial smelting process. Zincolns aren't mixed but wafered. I'm not sure, others here my be, but woodies appear in the teens through early 40's. in 44-46 cents were made out of a different mix using old spent shell cases, don't recall any woodies from those years nor many thereafter.

They do catch my eye when I find them. Most Zincolns don't have them this strongly if at all.
