From what I have been reviewing, I believe this is an error. The hind left leg seems to be detached from the body. Any thoughts please?

It looks normal to me. Compare it to another one and see what you think.

I believe the difference is a result of die-polishing.

I agree with coinmaster, it is not a detached Leg,it is still connected.

If it was more polished/Abraided the more details would have been taken away from the area in question.

The last pic. you've posted has a nice Die Crack extended from the Rim thru. the D and onto the Rump!

Looks like a Die Crack under Jefferson's chin too! It goes all the way to the rim. If it's the coin I think it is, I discovered it a while back. It would be the SKH-5c-2005P-02. I found three of them in a roll. You can see it here.
