Thanks coinmasters . I did the math and it adds up to a whole heap of Bombay quarters and equals me being broke lol.

Have you ever heard the term "Stopped on a dime"?

Well unfortunately someone stopped on this quarter while doing 80 mph!

The Obverse is totally obliterated and beyond ungradable while the reverse featuring the minor die variety is in decent shape.

The real value of any variety coin is directly correlated to the overall condition (grade) of the coin In relation to the rarity factor & census population of that particular variety.

Having said that...I would throw it back into circulation before it loses it's spending power.

True it is in rough shape but I have found several of these Bombay hook error coins so I decided to try and collect each of them and put together a collection of ATB errors so I'll hang onto this one till I find a better example.
