I have an antique desk made out of a square piano for play write David Belasco. The sides and back of the desk have medallions of 6 Roman Emperors. The medallions are round and approximately 80mm in diameter and made out of a soft metal. I'm missing the bust of Claudius. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement. Thanks Jerry

I would assume they'd have been specifically made to use there. If you wanted a replacement the right size and style, you'd probably have to get one specially made.

If you needed to take a model of what you'd want with you, it could be difficult. Genuine portrait coins of Claudius are normally pretty expensive. You might have to make do with an imitation, or a printout of a coin from an online database, like this one.

Glenn Terry is an artist, who also has an interest in ancient coins, and he could probably make a copy.
