Find Claudius Commemorative Medallion

jerbob New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 04/22/2008 7:47 pm I have an antique desk made out of a square piano for play write David Belasco. The sides and back of the desk have medallions of 6 Roman Emperors. The medallions are round and approximately 80mm in diameter and made out of a soft metal. I'm missing the bust of Claudius. If you wanted a replacement the right size and style, you'd probably have to get one specially made. If you needed to take a model of what you'd want with you, it could be difficult. Genuine portrait coins of Claudius are normally pretty expensive. You might have to make do with an imitation, or a printout of a coin from an online database, like this one.
