Found this 1972 LMC in a bag of coins today. I think it is a DDO. So far I've been unsuccessful at correctly identifying DD. I would greatly appreciate help in confirming this is a 1972 DDO. If this is a 1972 DDO any idea for potential value?
ElonU- Strictly speaking I haven't tried roll hunting yet. That's next on my to do list. I've been asking friends and family members if they have any containers sitting around with change in them. Many of these have been sitting around for years to decades. I thought these may be a target rich environment. I offer them 1.5 cents/face value of the coin. This saves them time from bringing them to the bank, they make a 50% increase on their investment and I have a blast searching through them. As I have only recently started coin collecting I have found the above DD, 2 ABQ DD, 2 silver quarters, 5 sliver Kennedy half-dollar and 2 RPM and a lot of die cracks, die chips etc.
Making lots of miss identifications, but everyone on the Coin Forum have been fantastic with both their patience and knowledge.
My patience comes from the fact that I'm an insomniac and have nothing better to do when I can't sleep!
