A while back, an employee (NOT a grader) at NGC said that if a coin is interesting enough to the graders, they will "make a listing" for the coin. Turns out, you cannot do that, but I sent this one in anyhow.
The double (I think it is triple) ear is irrefutable (to me). There is also doubling on the cotton ball, and also the nose, chin and lower lip.
Also: there
appears to be an extra leaf above the top leaf (but I am not so sure.
There may be an alligator eye to: check the last photo.
The most interesting part to me is the series of lines thruogh liberty. The E on liberty has an extra segment almost. Two horizontal short segments that appear to "poke" the R.
I've looked on the reverse (which is doubled on our right side, by the way -- the first A is easiest to see), but I cannot find a partial clashed E. I will get out my microscope some time.
Does anyone know WHAT is going on here?
Thank you.
