Hey,

Some you have probably seen my post on PO1 flowing hair Half Dime (1795) in the grading forum.

I know that these coins are pretty rare, but I was trying to figure out how rare. Do you have any (post pics!)? What are your thoughts on this as a type coin? How many pieces do you think survive?

Can you post a picture of yours, with the grading label? That was an interesting thread. http://goccf.com/t/291364

Here's a 1794 V-4 I picked up a month ago. The most common 1794 type, R-4 rarity (76-200 est. survival).

According to PCGS, survival is 550 for 1794 and 1750 for 1795 Half Dimes. From looking at Heritage auctions that seems reasonable. A lot of these coins were saved in proportion to the mintages. Flowing hair coins are desirable and expensive but not really all that rare.
