Hello, I'm super new to collecting and had a question about a 2017 effigy mounds quarter I found. I have actually found two with the same error and they are both P mints. I've tried googling the error and haven't seen anything quite like it. Just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it, any help would be great. Thank you

to CCF. Very interesting. Can't tell for sure if it is a LARGE die chip or if something is stuck on the surface of the coin.

with the above except that it may be large enough to classify as a die break (large chip).

Edit: it's not listed on http://www.CudsonCoins.com (probably too new) under US Interior Die Breaks (IDB). Maybe you could submit it.
