I'm thinking of submitting some coins to ANACS with the special they're running. I've never had one of their slabs so how do they compare to PCGS slabs?

I have a blue PCGS slab box and am wondering if ANACS slabs will fit in the slots. The one NGC slab I had was just a little too tall to allow the top to close and it was narrower so it didn't stay in place.

Any comparison pics and/or dimensions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes. Anacs slabs will fit in PCGS blue boxes. Not snuggly but the top will still close. However NGC slabs will fit in the box too they are a little taller and don't let the top close properly

They're about the same size. The PCGS ones feel like a much higher quality though in my opinion and are also waterproof now.

Call me weird, but the tapered top on the ANACS holder really bugs me.
Rest in Peace

The tapered top allows you the read the label when they are still in the boxes.

Agreed jbuck but I got used to them. Although I really wish they would go back to the hotel-soap slabs

Yes. I have seen them at coins shows displayed exactly that way, allowing them to either have more of them out or use a smaller table.

I just recently started buying slabs anyway, so maybe in time it will bother me less.

Thanks for the pics, teslacoil!

I wondered about (aka "didn't like") the tapered top of the ANACS slabs as well. Thanks for the clarification Conder101. I feel better about the design now.
