Hey everybody! What coins are out there that relate back to your profession? Do you have them? Do you want them? Share pictures if you have them.
As for me, I'm doing an MFA in translation and PhD in English lit (medieval England), and I'm still wishing I was able to have afforded the Mark Twain silver dollar last year and the UK's King Canute five pound coin this year. I also kind of wish I lived in the UK, since they seem to circulate commemoratives honoring literary figures pretty commonly (Jane Austen this year, three Shakespeares last year, Dickens in 2012, the King James Bible in 2011, Robert Burns in 2009, the Battle of Hastings on a 50p in 2015, a 50p for Johnson's dictionary in 2005). At least I know what to keep an eye out for if I can scrape by enough to get to England for any conferences.

Fro me it's None. I'm in jail and a life time criminal. In reality, it is still none since it would be something dealing with Nuclear Energy.

I'm military, so there's a lot out there. This one I've already put in the commemoratives, but it fits here now too.

Quote: Any scientists on coins? Lots of them. First that comes to mind is a series from Poland, I think the Third Zloty, where they had a lot of scientists, like Marie Curie, Copernicus, etc. Also, Denmark has a few 20 DKK pieces about scientists. To combine that with the nuclear engineering, one of them is about Niels Bohr and the Bohr model. Now for myself, there's actually one from where I live. Here's a hint (although I'm in some multidisciplinary job): And it's this coin: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces52135.html
