It looks real to me. It also looks like it was soldered to something. Maybe it was a button for a while.

The coin is severely damaged and has therefore lost its numismatic value. 1762 isn't a key date either. Without the damage, in this condition, it may have gotten you 150 euro or so. Now I think 20 to 25 perhaps. But it's of course about what someone wants to spend on it...
