I hope I'm in the right place to post this buy I have a nickel that the color dont look right I am still new to all this cam you guys tell me if I'm right or just going crazy lol.

The pics aren't very clear but, something has definitely happened to this nickel after it was minted. The surfaces look very mottled and resemble environmental damage or acid etching. The overall color looks okay to me.

So, only worth 5 cents.
