Greetings Everyone...

I am new to this wonderful forum. I came across this Lincoln Cent that was a place holder and noticed the 'L' in Liberty was offset and wanted to know your opinions.

Do you mean how it is touching the rim? Because it is supposed to be doing that.

As Dies wear, the material metals of the die face move outwards. In end of life dies the L will wrap up around the rim, at times the lower bar even disappears. That happens in VLDS (very late die states) along with other polishing and strike through errors.
