Nice find! Not only did you find a Wheatie, but a WHeatie that used to have high collector interest. I wonder why the interest fizzled, and how much these are worth nowadays.

I'm not sure why the collector interest went down, but still a very good find. Not really sure about value ether. Thank you Beefer518. :)

Two reasons,1 they found out there are a lot of them out there and 2 the mint redesigned the dies to fix the problem.
Value: little to none.

If you look on ebay, there's a ton of "BIE" die breaks on there. Sellers are selling tons of them. So, the value is pretty much gone.:)

There are plenty of people that collect BIE cents. They are traded everyday at around two or three dollars. The older ones are getting harder to find and the design change does the same for the newer ones.
I trade coins on ebay and a couple other places, and have found there are collectors of just about all the minor errors. Some of them are heavily into it, and have thousands of them. All of them are more than happy to pay minor prices for minor errors. They're no different than major error collectors, just on a smaller scale.

Thank you CoinMasters for the information. That's a good thing that there is still some interest in these errors. :)
