I just picked this one up for the die cracks on the reverse. I have not really been interested in die cracks until recently and am really enjoying finding some good ones. What are your thoughts on the grade of this one?

Most likely F-12, stretch at F-15. No way its a VF.

What drew me to this coin was the die break in the field through the beak. Once I had the coin in hand I saw the vacant area above the left wing. Then I was amazed at the die crack starting on the right side at the "r" in America heading horizontally to the right until the left wing, where it goes down the wing to the dentils. In hand it is much more dramatic than in the photos.

I never really understood the obsession with die cracks but I agree the one on your coin is pretty cool looking.

In the F-15 camp. Many early bust half dates are harder to find without die problems than with them.
