Yesterday I was examining my two 1oz Libertads dated 2013 and 2017 and I noticed several differences. I tried to take a few photos, but I had big problems with lightning and reflections, so I'll try to describe the differences.

In all aspects seems the 2017 issues struck more sharply, with the most notable differences being her left wing (the plain field of the part that holds the feathers), her torso (belly), cactus at 5 o'clock and mountains at 9 o'clock.

So, my question is this: were there any changes to Libertad's design between 2013 and 2017, so that the latter seems much sharper? Or, what are the possible other explanations for this. If necessary, I will try to take a few photos with different lightning.

Ok, I did a little research and found that apparently 2017 issue has much sharper details.
Here are two photos from APMEX that are way better than anything I could do. Every single detail seems sharper.

Looks like completely new master hub, they've sharpened up all the details, made some changes in the lettering font (Note the you in PURA, the spacing of the TA in PLATA, and the N in ONZA has been increased in size and brought down to the same base line as the other letters.) Two more leaves have been added to the plant on the pedestal. The have increased the definition of the lower edge of the figures ribcage. Shape of the lower three feathers of the figures left wing are different (viewers right)

Nicely described, Conder101 (I'm not that good at describing things in english). I don't know exactly what brought me to inspect 2013 and 2017 coins side by side, but I'm glad I did it
