i just found a 2001P, which I have atributed as 1DR-005, in coppercoins listings. two of the three die markers are matching on my coin. the third one - I cant really tell if the small die crack is present.
it also shows no known cross references.

i then looked at wexlers listing, and his WDDR 041 appears to be the same DDR. of his written descriptions of the die markers (without photo images) at least one of them - t(he die gouges near the bottom of the 12th colum) seem to match each other. this listing also states not know cross references.

so - are these two listing - the same as each other, or am I making something up - here?

Photos of your coin would be very helpful.

Thank you for your comment. As much as photos of my coin may confirm (or not confirm) my attribution- that really isn't my question. I so infrequently am able match the die characteristics to listed coins - that in this case I am able to match die markers - and I am certain that I have the coin attributed properly. My question has to do with the above mentioned listing, and as to why both say no known cross references.

Being I'm unable to see the coin in question. I'll go with maybe at the time they were listed "known cross references" were not found. These guys and or gals seem to have some extensive databases to keep track of. Thanks, Doug.

I don't think that the owners of the websites take the time to find the cross references and just list none known. At times I have sent Mr. Wexler every cross reference for a given year. He is very good at then posting them to his website. CC I have had no such luck. I quit sending them to CC. Still Lookin
Rest in Peace

Coppercoins.com has pretty much been on hold since 2014 release of the "Short List", Chuck Daughtrey had other things going on and hasn't been able to continue that much. I'm not sure if any is doing any crossreferences there.
