I gave away my old editions of Cherry Pickers Guide to US coins some years ago, now want a new one but the newest I find on Amazon is a 2015 edition, is this the latest?

Went to two coin shops in Houston today and neither had them for sale, said they had so few requests they quit carrying them....is error and variety collecting/searching on the wane?

Also would Amazon be the best place to locate one?

thanxz for any help , bob

BB101...to answer your question if error hunting is on the wane, probably so. Coins aren't electronic. As witnessed by this forum, MANY new searchers have become discouraged after being told their next Coin Lottery Cherrypicker Variety Megabuck coin, is nothing more than a common damaged coin. Too many of these new "cherrypick" (?) "pamphlets" promise riches galore, but finding out the reality behind that is a BIIIIIIIGGGGG let down. There are some on here that have caught the bug, these we need to encourage more IMHO.

thanxz to all for the information. I had checked at the coin store in the village and Royal coins by Meyerland and neither carried them anymore.

I am interested in the PUP's for the various varieties and dates, such as the Wide AM, double dies ('83?) and some newer things I might not be aware of....maybe I need to check coppercoins site, haven't seen a post from him in awhile but maybe I look at the wrong threads.

Man a bunch of pessimists on this site I didnt get into error coins till earlier this year and have made thousands selling them. Sure you might not get exactly what it says in the book but if you find the error yourself chances are you paid less than 10% of what your selling it for anyway. Btw yes thousands. M~

There goes Crazyb0 being a ray of optimism as always.

oih82w8 has it right, those are the two latest editions. One is Half Cents through nickels and the other is Half Dimes through commemoratives and bullion.
