This is a recent acquisition. I think it is Japanese, but not 100% sure. Could be a token, weight, game piece? I am not really sure. It is 36.5mm x 21.2mm and weighs 14.9g. As usual, any thoughts regarding attribution, age, rarity, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Mystery solved . . . well sort of.

I appears to be a Japanese Tempo Era (1835 - 1870) Sen Zu Mint 100 Mon trial piece, amulet or fantasy. Here is the forum link to another one.

That one is similar, but not exactly the same. Not sure if mine is a period piece or made later.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Wondering if it has any value, although I am sure collector pool for these are pretty thin.

Nice investigative work @litp! I think that you are pretty close. I also agree on the market (at least in the US) being pretty thin for these.
