I am not much of a bill collector but do try to keep on eye on the serial numbers of the ones that go through my hands. First time I have ever found a 3 digit repeater. Would this be worth anything more than face value?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, your close but no cigar.
A 3 digit repeater(yours) should read 9309039. Again,I think

From what I understand, 9309039 is a Radar, while 9039039 is a repeater. The 'repeating' sequence is 903 in this case.

If I were you I'd keep the $10, even if it is not worth anything more than face, also since you said you'd never got a 3 digit repeater before.

A three digit repeater.
There is a small premium for these, worth holding onto.
Make sure you keep it in some sort of bill holder
to prevent any damage.

As Solar Penny pointed out, it is a 4 digit repeater.

Thanks for all the input! I don't have any bill holders, is there any harm in storing it in a ziplock bag or between pages in a book? I think that other note is still considered a repeater but it would be a 4 digit repeater which would be much more common. I had heard that 3 digit ones might carry a small premium so I am glad to hear the same thing from you JimmyD!

These are also the 150 anniversary bills. So i'd keep them since they're limited. Not sure what it's worth but it's cool

I sold a $20 note 4 digit repeater that was in VF-EF condition for $25. (152600047282 - listing number) So to answer your question.. yes it is worth a small premium. Looks like your note is in a bit better condition as well....
